Avelina Amescua serves as the Operations Manager at Waypoint Wealth Partners, where she has been a valuable member of the team for more than six years. She excels at driving operational efficiency across the organization, combining a keen eye for detail with a results-oriented approach. Avelina is committed to delivering high-quality results while cultivating a collaborative and positive work environment. Whether overseeing day-to-day operations or managing large-scale projects, she thrives in fast-paced, dynamic settings and is dedicated to creating lasting value for our clients and our team.
Prior to joining Waypoint, Avelina earned a bachelor’s degree in international business from San Francisco State University. With her experience in the hospitality industry and a proactive, team-oriented attitude, she effortlessly transitioned into her operations role.
What do you enjoy most about your role as Operations Manager?
I love the variety each day brings, whether it’s solving challenges, streamlining processes, or collaborating with different team members. It's incredibly rewarding to see the positive outcomes of my work and know that my efforts to keep everything running smoothly directly contributes to the success of our clients and team.

What do you love to do outside of work?
Outside of work, I love traveling and immersing myself in nature, especially when I'm out on my paddleboard. Whether it’s exploring the outdoors, spending time with my dog, or catching up with friends, I cherish those moments. I’m also a big fan of trying new cuisines and discovering unique flavors.
